JU baseball family suffers another loss with passing of Kelly Kulina
In more than 50 years of JU baseball, the Dolphins have had several players, coaches, staff and supporters pass away and leave us with heavy hearts.
Unfortunately, the program has suffered another loss with the passing of former JU slugger and coach Kelly Kulina (1982-83) at the age of 48.
Kelly was a member of the program record setting Dolphin squad that ranked No. 1 in the nation with 110 home runs in 1983. His brother, Kenny, was a pitcher with the Dolphins from 1988-89 and his son, Kell, was a member of the program in 2007.
