Men's tennis sweeps Hampton

The JU men’s tennis team swept Hampton University 6-0 Saturday at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex.  In anticipation of inclement weather, the doubles portion of the match was skipped.

The Dolphins won every singles match for the second year in a row against Hampton. 

JU won its matches by a combined score of 72 games to 7 to win its second team match in a row. 

Senior Matt Hansen and sophomore Larry Condez both won their matches without dropping a point 6-0, 6-0. 

JU will try to make it three wins in a row when they face FAU at home on Sunday in a new starting time of 12:00 pm.  Friday’s match against the College of Charleston was postponed due to weather.
