Men’s tennis falls to FAMU
The Jacksonville University men’s tennis team was defeated 6-1 by Florida A&M Saturday in Tallahassee. Sophomore Larry Condez earned the lone point for the Dolphins with his individual match win over Fabrice Myrtil 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. This was Condez’s second victory of 2012. JU senior Matt Hansen narrowly missed winning his individual match falling to FAMU’s Asafu-Adjaye 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (6). With the loss, the Dolphins are now 2-4 on the season. They return to action on March 3rd when they host the Campbell Camels at the Keith Watson Family Tennis Complex. Match Results: Doubles 1. Banos Lopez/ Casagrande vs Kante/ Clark- FAMU 9-7 2.
