I had an early work-out this morning in the hotel to start the day. With all of this good ole red beans and rice every day, I may have picked up a few pounds!!

We watched a little film of our last game before breakfast with the team and final meeting /sharing session. The meeting was AWESOME! Here are some of the things we heard:

"You guys are my brothers … I want to do more for the girls in the orphanage … I felt like a kid again … I have a strong faith in God ... This trip brought me closer to God, my teammates and the coaches ... I'll remember this trip for the rest of my life.”

Needless to say there were quite a few tears as everyone shared something personal.

We followed with a quick coaches meeting to discuss how each assistant felt coaching their own game and what they learned. It was great to be an assistant this week to make suggestions and watch the team from a different seat.

Blanco (Bus Driver), Felix (interpreter) and Giovany (Host/Organizer of all the games) mucho gracias. We didn't see them today but they made our visit very smooth. Also, David Conrady (Score International) was terrific this am with his words about God. Tommy and Heather Kyle (Nations of Coaches) were exceptionally gracious to our entire team all week.

As we departed for the states, our guys actually had fun coming through airport security - (Please look at the pictures!!!) Somehow, I got an upgrade on my tickets, not first class, but almost. The upgrade was enough to allow me to watch a movie "Think like a man" based off Steve Harvey book on the flight.

Now going through customs was a real treat for the boys. There were many languages being spoken, many bags that all looked alike, long lines and everyone is impatient. After security, a man named Joe Williams helped us avoid another severely long line. Joe was that helpful.

The entire team almost tackled me to get their phones back - Be ready for a Twitter overload!!! Thanks to all the parents and loved ones for understanding WHY I took their phones. (Hopefully your bill is lower this month also!)

Everyone sprinted to the nearest fast food place for any kind of greasy food they can get. And YES I am looking for all you can eat ICE CREAM!!! Our next flight wasn’t until 10:20 p.m. to Orlando then bus ride back to Jacksonville. Oops … flight just got delayed until 12:15 a.m. More time to bond as a team …

The Orlando airport was still busy when we got there at 1 a.m. I guess people around the world still want to see Mickey Mouse at Disney. We watched the movie "Ted" on the bus back to Jacksonville.

Well I'm home I'm safe and I'm truly thankful. Thank you Jesus!
