Lynch named PFL Player of the Week
JU place kicker Dylan Lynch has been named Pioneer Football League Special Teams Player of the Week, the fifth consecutive week a Dolphin has won the award.

Lynch, who is from Jacksonville and transferred to JU from Florida International, accounted for 10 points, including the eventual game-winning field goal, in Jacksonville’s 34-24 PFL victory at Davidson Saturday.

He converted field goals of 38 and 24 yards, the second kick putting the Dolphins ahead 27-10 in the third quarter. Lynch also converted all four PATs and averaged 62.9 yards on seven kickoffs, including two touch backs.

Lynch has connected on seven of 11 field goals (.636 pct) and 22 of 23 extra point (.957) attempts this season to lead the team in scoring with 43 points. He is third in the league in scoring average at 6.1 points per game.
