Women’s golf wraps second round of Lady Paladin Invitational

The JU women’s golf team slipped back to eighth place following the second round of play in the 41st annual Lady Paladin Invitational Saturday at the Furman University Golf Course.

Senior Gaia Olcese was even through the front nine en route to JU’s lowest round of the day at 77 (53rd). Sophomore Jessica Welch and junior Carlie Gehlhausen each carded a 79 to drop back to 17th and 22nd, respectively.

Sophomore Natalie Schmett (55th) and junior Francesca Yong (60th) closed out JU’s day.
