Mann & DeLuca Named Preseason All-MAAC
Dolphins picked fifth in preseason coaches poll

EDISON, N.J. – Jacksonville senior midfielder Cameron Mann (Hamilton, Ont.) and junior goalie Peter DeLuca (Millersville, Pa) were named to the preseason All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference team as selected by the league’s head coaches.  Coming off a 6-7; 3-3 season the Dolphins were selected fifth in the poll which was released on Thursday evening.  

A First Team All-MAAC selection each of the past two years, Mann enters the 2013 campaign as the only player in the three year history of JU lacrosse to record over 100 career points. Last year he ranked third in the league with 1.83 assists per game and was fourth with 3.42 points per game.  

DeLuca led the MAAC with a .570 save percentage in 2012 as he averaged 12.85 saves per contests in 2012.  He ended the year with a spot on the All- MAAC Second Team and the conference All-Academic team.

Siena, last year’s regular season champions, was picked as the favorite by the league’s head coaches.
