Dolphins fall behind early then fall 8-3 to the Richmond Spiders
Chris Anderson (Lino Lakes, Minn.) was at times dominant on Friday night but he could not overcome three costly errors in the top half of the first inning.
The big inning has haunted the Dolphins all season and it came early on Friday. Three costly errors mixed with three Richmond hits staked the Spiders to a five run lead before the Dolphins came to bat. The Spiders batted around scoring five runs all of which were unearned.
Anderson (0-1) became dominant after the first inning retiring 15 Spiders in order from the third inning until the top half of the eight.
The Dolphins were lead offensively by Brady North (Tampa, Fla.) who had his first homerun as a Dolphin, a two run shot in the bottom half of the fourth inning. North ended the evening with three RBI.
The Dolphins will be back in action of Saturday at 2p.m. from John Sessions Stadium. The game can be followed live by hitting the LIVE SCORING link on www.judolphins.com. Due to technical issues we have been experiencing outages on the live stats reporting system.
