Women’s Lacrosse Back In Action At Home On Saturday Against Old Dominion
Dolphins averaging 19 goals in the last two games

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville women’s lacrosse team has it sights set on a third straight win as they welcome Old Dominion to D.B. Milne Field this Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

The Dolphins are coming off a 23-4 win at Presbyterian last Saturday that served as JU’s first road game of the season. Sophomore Taylor McCord (Jacksonville, Fla.) scored three goals and had two assists in the win to earn her second straight A-Sun Offensive Player of the Week honor.

McCord leads the team with 17 total points having totaled 10 goals and seven assists in the first five games. Senior Amanda Hurley (Columbus, Ga.) meanwhile has racked up a team best 11 goals on only 12 shot attempts.  

Old Dominion enter’s Saturday’s game at 1-2 on the year. The Monarchs are coming off a 15-9 win over William & Mary who the Dolphins will face next Friday.
