Carlie Gelhausen (Noblesville, Ind.) is tied for 34th after opening with (84-80-164) over the par 72 layout. Francesca Yong (Malaysia) (85-86-171) is tied for 62nd and Christina Paulsen (Ridgewood, N.J.) rounded out the scoring for the Dolphins with (87-88-165) to sit in a tie for 68th overall.
Battling cold and wind blowing consistently through the day, the scoring average for the field through two rounds was 82.69. The Dolphins scores of (330 – 322 – 652) leave the alone in seventh place overall.
Old Dominion is leading at 45-over 621 after a tournament low 15-over 303 in the second round. Kent State is in second at 53-over 629, with host Georgia State in third at 54-over 630. Samford rounds out the top five teams at 70-over 646.
