Dolphins No. 1 duo goes a perfect 7-0 on the weekend
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville sand volleyball duo of Taylor Nyquist and Sammie Strausbaugh posted a perfect 7-0 record this weekend at the JU Easter Tournament following a sweep of their three matches on Saturday.

As a team the Dolphins dropped duals to Stetson (3-2), the College of Charleston (3-2) and Florida State (4-1) on Saturday.

“Taylor and Sammie were awesome all weekend and we are very proud of them,” said JU Assistant Coach Marcela Oliveria. “They have come along way and you can see their growth when they play. They are getting smarter and communicating very well every time they step on the court.”

The weekend for the duo was highlighted by a pair of wins over Florida State on Friday and Saturday.
