Men’s Lacrosse Primed For Biggest Game In School History On Saturday
Dolphins can clinch a share of MAAC regular season crown with a win over Marist

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Saturday not only marks Senior Day for Jacksonville’s first ever four-year class, it is an opportunity for the Dolphins’ men’s lacrosse team to achieve yet another historic first.

Riding a school-record four game winning streak, JU (6-3; 4-0) is matched up against Marist (7-2; 3-0) in a showdown of the only remaining undefeated teams in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play this season. A win would give the Dolphins a share of their first ever MAAC regular season title as well secure the top seed in the conference tournament.

The senior class of Culver Bradbury, Thad Foster, Tanner Gard, Daniel Jones, TJ Kenary, Cam Mann, Dan McNulty, Brendan Niklason, and James Trentini will be honored before the game.

“These young men have laid the foundation of JU lacrosse,” said Head Coach Guy Van Arsdale. “From where this program was in the inaugural season four years ago, to where we are today with an opportunity to win a MAAC title on our home field on senior day is a testament to work ethic and maturity our team has shown this year.”

Game time is set for 1:00 pm. at D.B. Milne Field. If fans can not make it to the game you can tune in on A-Sun TV.
