PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Jacksonville University volleyball team split a pair of matches Friday at the Brown University Volleyball Tournament, defeating La Salle, 3-2, after falling to Princeton, 3-1.

La Salle won the first game 15-8, but JU did not back down and picked up game two with an identical 15-8 score. JU faced elimination in game four, as La Salle took a 2-1 lead with a 15-8 game three victory, but the Dolphins would roll to a convincing 15-1 win in game four before using the momentum to win the fifth and deciding game 15-13.
