Dolphins Sweep MSU for First Home Wins

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University beach volleyball program (3-8, 0-1 ASUN Conference) kicked off spring break play Monday with a pair of 5-0 sweeps over the visiting Morehead State Eagles.

The duals crowned the Dolphins' first home wins of the season.

"This was really big for our team morale with where we are in the season," said Director of Volleyball Julie Darty. "We know that conference is getting closer and closer, so the more cohesion, chemistry and confidence we build is important as we head into ASUN play.

"We threw out an entirely different lineup with Mackenzie [Swan] out with her class for spring break, so it was kind of cool to see how everyone responded to playing with a new partner. They all bought in, and this was a big team win."
