KENNESAW, Ga. – Undefeated in the month of April, Jacksonville University (23-16, 8-1 ASUN) returns to the road and to ASUN Conference play Friday at Kennesaw State University (17-20, 6-3 ASUN). The Dolphins will put their 11-game winning streak on the line in a weekend series with a lot at stake; JU could either put some breathing room between itself and the rest of the conference or drop as low as fourth.

First pitch at KSU's Stillwell "The Shake" Baseball Stadium will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday.

JU stretched its season-best winning streak to 11 games, tied for the second-longest active streak in the nation, with a 10-6 win over Florida A&M (19-17, 9-6 MEAC). Two-week reigning ASUN Player of the Week Angel Camacho stretched his hitting streak to 11 games, and Nathan Koslowski re-took the lead in ASUN batting average, total hits, and doubles with a 3-5 performance.

Scouting the Opponent

Kennesaw State has had a bit of a rollercoaster of a season. The Owls played a challenging non-conference slate, and entered ASUN play near the bottom of the standings. Since then the Owls are tied for third in the conference standings with a 6-3 record in ASUN play. Friday's opposing pitcher Tony Dibrell has one of the best ERAs (1.44) in the country for a starter, and Taylor Allum has one less homer (12) than all JU's bats combined. But the team's combinmed ERA of 5.02 is in the lower half of the conference, and the Owls are prone to striking out at the plate with 33 more K's than the Dolphins.

On Deck

Jacksonville has the rest of April off as the Dolphins enter Finals Week and prepare for graduation, but JU will return to the field May 2 at Savannah State (10-25, 1-11 MEAC) and May 3 at #10 Florida (25-12, 8-7 SEC).
