Green Takes Game 1 of Fall World Series

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Pitching and defense dominated in a low-scoring affair Friday in Game 1 of the Green & Gold Fall World Series. The Green team took down the Gold team 2-1, with Chris Gau pitching 6.2 innings of shutout baseball. Matt Meyer allowed one run in the ninth but maintained the save as Green takes advantage of Gold miscues to take Game 1.
