Green Explodes for Eight Runs in Dominant Fall World Series Finale

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - On the strength of 12 hits and eight runs, the Green Team of Jacksonville University took down JU's Gold Team 8-1 Sunday in the annual Fall World Series Game 3. The win gave Green its second consecutive FWS after Green won in three games in 2016.

Green's pitching staff was also very effective, limiting Gold to just three hits, including a solo bomber by Sam Armstrong in the ninth inning that broke up a shutout by Green.
