With an eye toward enhancing the fan experience at the newly renovated D. B. Milne Field complex, the list of stadium "can do's'' certainly outweighs the "don'ts.''
The complex, renovated during the summer, has its unveiling Saturday when the Jacksonville University football team plays host to San Diego at 1 p.m.
Fans will be allowed to bring food into the stadium along with drinks (excluding alcohol and glass containers) and umbrellas.
Small collapsible chairs are allowed although fans might find themselves gravitating toward the new 2,900-seat fixed-seating area.
Tents also will be allowed on the north end of the stadium only from the new press box around to the fixed seating.
No animals (except certified seeing-eye dogs) and no coolers will be allowed.
Fans will have available a variety of new choices in the concession area with a new concessions building that will have beer and light snacks; several food trucks offering choices of entrees as well as one truck dedicated to serving deserts; an on-site JU Bookstore satellite store will sell all manner of Dolphins' attire and souvenirs; men's and women's lavatories and a state of the art 26'x14' video-scoreboard.
