JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville quarterback Kade Bell has been named the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in Friday's upset win at Delaware.
The redshirt senior led Jacksonville to a 20-14 victory at Delaware for its first season-opening victory since 2010. He completed 25-of-43 passes for 269 yards and had eight carries for 28 yards. He accounted for 297 of the team's 339 offensive yards. Bell got Jacksonville on the board first with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Andy Jones in the first quarter.
