JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After leading Jacksonville to the best start in program history with a 5-0 record following a 41-14 dismantling of Stetson, quarterback Kade Bell was named as the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week.
Bell went 23-for-40 through the air with five touchdowns to passes to five different receivers. He totaled 247 yards passing to earn his second weekly honor after taking home the distinction following the season opening win at Delaware.
The redshirt-senior from Fleming Island, Fla., is leading the PFL in with 302.6 yards passing per game, and is second in total offense per game with 308 yards. In 2015, Bell has thrown for 1,513 yards and 11 touchdowns with five interceptions.
