Spring Game Set for Saturday Night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Head Coach Ian Shields and the Jacksonville Dolphins will hold their 2016 spring football game Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at D.B. Milne Field.

"I think that we have had a productive spring and accomplished our goals while working towards some others," said Shields. "It has been a great start and first spring. We are looking forward to its culmination Saturday night at 7 p.m."

The scrimmage will feature offense pitted against defense and no score or clock will be used. Admission and parking is free.

Jacksonville is coming off a 9-2 season but is beginning its first under Shields and his new staff. The Dolphins return five players who earned Pioneer Football League post-season honors in 2015, as well as four of its top five rushers and receivers, and top two tacklers.

The Dolphins will open the 2016 season at Liberty on Sept. 10 in Lynchburg, Va.
