Harrison Rodormer Named PFL Defensive Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Jacksonville University linebacker Harrison Rodormer has been named the Pioneer Football League's Defensive Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in the Dolphins' 24-7 victory at Stetson on Saturday.

It is the first career weekly honor for Rodormer, the junior from Delray Beach, Fla. Rodormer led the Dolphins with nine tackles (four solo, five assists), had a sack in the second consecutive game, and posted a career-best three tackles-for-a-loss. He led a Dolphin defense that allowed only 115 yards rushing and 117 through the air, and only two red zone chances for Stetson. Rodormer had a tackle-for-a-loss and a sack in a three-play span to halt a first quarter drive.

Rodormer was also named the PFL Defensive Player of the Week by College Sports Madness.

Jacksonville plays Duquesne on Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. Tickets to the contest are available at JUTickets.com.
