There were no chocolates, flowers or special cards for the Jacksonville University men’s and women’s rowing programs on Feb. 14. Instead, the Dolphins spent the morning of Valentine’s Day preparing for their spring schedule with what they affectionately term a “crewthalon” – a 6K on the erg followed by a 3.5 mile run and 1.2 miles of stadium. Winners were Travis Pulliam, a sophomore on the men’s side, with a time of 1:01:10 and Stacey Price, a freshman on the women’s team, at 1:08:45.
