JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Every month, Pepsi Co. recognizes a Jacksonville University Student-Athlete for exemplary performance in competition and in the classroom. The honoree for the month of November is women’s soccer’s Sara Wicks.
Wicks was welcomed to the Dolphins this year and had a terrific season in goal, appearing in all 16 matches to post a record of 7-7-2. A two-time Atlantic Sun Defensive Player of the Week, she has logged 1,422 minutes and posted a pair of shutouts for a goals against average of 1.20 (ranked fourth in the A-Sun) and an 84.7 save percentage (second in the A-Sun).

- Converted a penalty kick and saved seven shots in JU’s 6-5 PK victory over UNF in the first round of the A-Sun Tournament
