BRASELTON, Ga. – For the second-consecutive day, the Jacksonville University men's golf team's play was halted by Mother Nature in the Atlantic Sun conference championship. The remaining holes are slated for a 9:30 tee time where 36-holes will be played for conference title on Tuesday.
Kennesaw State is the tournament leader at six-over par through 13-16 holes, while Jacksonville and its playing partners at Lipscomb completed most of its first round, with the Dolphins at +21 combined and the Bisons at +8.
Raul Pereda paces the Dolphins with a one-under par first round score, good for a tie in fourth. Brett McKinnon was the only one in the lineup that remains in his first round with a current score of six-over par.
Dawson Armstrong of Lipscomb leads the 40 players leaderboard with a three-under par through 17, while Sebastian Lopez Bull of USC Upstate is at two-under par through 18 complete.
