Dolphins Tabbed Second in Preseason Poll

Dolphins Tabbed Second in Preseason Poll

Official Release

EDISON, N.J. – The Jacksonville University men's rowing program is a force to be reckoned with in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, a fact evident in the league's coaches' poll where the Dolphins narrowly missed the top spot as the preseason favorite.

Marist and Jacksonville, in similar fashion to last year's conference championship, were chosen in the No. 1 and 2 spots, respectively.

The Dolphins won two of their four events in the 2014 MAAC Championships to finish with 22 points behind Marist's 26 and ahead of Iona (12), Fairfield (9) and Canisius (6).

The men's crew take the water for the first time this spring in a St. Johns River meeting with Boston College on Friday, March 6.
