Despite Impressive Performance, Dolphin Crew Misses Dad Vails Finals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University men's rowing team wrapped up its 2016 regular season Saturday in the semi-finals of the Dad Vails Regatta in Philadelphia, Penn.

 

The second day of competition on the Schuylkill River featured 38 semi-final heats of five teams each, with the top two teams of each heat going to the finals. In the Varsity Pair competition, JU's lineup finished fourth in the second heat with a time of 7:26.227. In the Varsity 4 race JU finished fifth in the third heat with a time of  6:50.702.

The Dolphins will now head to the MAAC Championship, which will be held Sunday at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
