Men's Rowing Hosts Temple to Open Spring Season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University men's rowing team will begin its 2017 spring schedule by hosting Temple University for the Jacksonville Sprints on Saturday, Mar. 18.

"This is going to be a great early season test for us. Temple is a historically strong crew, and I think if we can demonstrate the athletic maturity we've been working on for the last few weeks, it'll be an exciting race. This won't be the only time we'll see them this spring, so whatever the outcome is, we'll have a better sense of what we need to focus on during our week of spring break training," said Head Coach Marci Robles.

The races are set to start at 10:30 a.m. and spectators are encouraged to watch on the Dolphin Green and near the Negaard Boathouse.
