Dugan Sets New PR at UF Mountain Dew Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville University men's cross country team finished 9th overall of Division I competitors at the 2018 UF Mountain Dew Invitational, Saturday morning.

Sophomore Peter Dugan set a new personal best in the 8,000-meter race with a time of 28:11.9 - over a minute off his previous PR set at last year's ASUN Conference Championships.

Junior Alex Turnock led the Dolphins and placed in the top 100 in 27:37.0, followed by Dugan and senior Brett Gerhardt (29:21.4). 

Sophomore Nick Ohlwein and fresehman Gabriel Nackashi rounded out the Dolphin contingent.

Jacksonville returns to action on Oct. 12 for the FSU Invitational as the final tune up before the ASUN Championships.
