Turnock Paces Dolphins As Men's XC Places 9th at USF Invite

TAMPA, Fla. – The Jacksonville University men's cross country team placed ninth overall at the USF Cross Country Invitational, Friday afternoon at The Claw.

Junior Alex Turnock and sophomore Peter Dugan placed in the top 100 runners to lead the Dolphins, as Turnock crossed the line in 39th (29:03.3) and Dugan finished 81st (30:44.2).

Senior Brett Gerhardt finished placed not far behind in 107th, while sophomore Nick Ohlwein and freshman Gabriel Nackashi rounded out the Dolphin contingent.

The Dolphins return to action in two weeks when they head north on Oct. 26 for the ASUN Conference Championships in the Bronx, N.Y.
