JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University women's golf wrapped the 11th Annual BUBBA burger Jacksonville Classic T-9.
Hannah Berman was the Dolphins best finisher, carding a 3-over 75 on Tuesday at Marsh Landing Country Club to wrap the tournament T-11.
The final round was impacted early by a driving rainstorm that lasted about 30 minutes not long after the shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The slow playing conditions affected several scores early across all the teams.
Amanda Detmer matched Berman's day on the course, and finished the event in T-23 at 7-over. Maria Brunzell shot a final round 78. Mawgan Vater wrapped the tournament with a 240 and Louise Persson posted her second-best round of the week to finish with a 241. Paula Trejo Lerdo shot her best round of the week, a 76, competing as an individual.
The Dolphins best holes of the week were Par-4s, shooting an average of 4.26, and logged 170 pars this week. Detmer shot 2-under on Par-5s, the third best scores of the tournament on that respective hole type. Berman sank 40 pars, the fourth-most for the event.
JU heads back on the road next week to Pinehurst, N.C. for the Pinehurst Challenge.
