NEXT WO(MAN) UP
There is an adage that goes, "Be ready, you never know when your number is going to be called." In the world of sports, injuries are as natural as the game itself and when they occur someone has to step up. For the Jacksonville University women's soccer program, Head Coach Brian Copham called on Nos. 2, 8, 12, and 13 and each have made a significant impact on the season.

Freshman Carolyn Eckerle, sophomores Bailey Dotsikas and Rachael Burton and junior Cassie Elmore have seen plenty of minutes on the pitch as of late.

"While we know injuries are a part of sports, it always puts a smile on a coach's face when players step up and shine when thrust into a new role," said Head Coach Brian Copham. "We see in training every day the talents these players have and know when called upon they will rise to the occasion as they have in recent weeks."
