JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In its final tune-up before the start of Atlantic Sun Conference play, the Jacksonville University women's soccer team hosts the College of Charleston Thursday at 5 p.m.
The Dolphins haven't dropped a nonconference finale since 2013 and manage a record of 3-2 in their last five including a 1-0 victory over the College of Charleston (2012).

JU's LAST OUTING
A pair of first-half goals pushed Coastal Carolina to a 2-0 victory over Jacksonville (2-5) Sunday.
When comparing the Dolphins' level of intensity between the first and second half, the difference was night and day. The team opened the final 45 minutes with a pair of quality shot attempts and went on to finish the match with 17.

SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
College of Charleston picked up its fifth straight shutout in a 1-0 decision against The Citadel Sunday. The streak features two wins at home, three on the road, and a 12-0 scoring differential.
The Cougars' offense is guided by Jessica Schifer (four goals/one assist) and Laura Ortega (three goals/three assists).
In six matches, Lauren Killian has a goals against average of .90 with 27 saves.
Jacksonville begins ASUN action next Saturday, Sept. 24, in a River City Rumble at North Florida. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
