RACE DAY: AT NCAA SOUTH REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Three members of the Jacksonville University cross country teams will represent the Dolphins at this weekend's NCAA South Region Championships at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. Nora McUmber and Hayleigh Palotti will race for the women's team in the 6K at 8:30 a.m., while Alex Turnock will represent the men's team in the 10K race at 9:30 a.m.

Next Meet: at NCAA Championships (11/17)
Last Meet: at ASUN Conference Championships (10/26)
- After finishing fifth as a team at the ASUN Championships, the women's team will be represented by senior Nora McUmber and freshman Hayleigh Palotti.
- McUmber placed sixth overall for First Team All-ASUN honors, while Palotti finished 11th overall to earn Second Team All-ASUN and ASUN All-Freshman Team honors.
- The men's team placed ninth overall at the ASUN Championships and will be represented by junior Alex Turnockwho has paced the Dolphins in each of the four meets so far this season.
- Turnock set a new personal best to lead the Dolphins at the ASUN Championships, and earlier this week picked up his second straight ASUN All-Academic Team selection.
