Description:

Built in 1953, it is currently the home to the Jacksonville University Dolphins Men and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball teams. Swisher Gym has undergone several renovations over the past 10 years including the installation of new videoboards, an updated game floor, and renovations to the Men’s & Women’s Basketball locker rooms in 2023 and the Volleyball locker room in 2024. On game day, Swisher Gym is considered one of the hardest places to play in the ASUN Conference as evidenced by the Men’s Basketball team’s 22-game home winning streak spanning the 2021-22 & 2022-23 seasons. The facility has played host to numerous ASUN tournament games and other outside events such as concerts by Billy Joel in 1975 and K.C. and the Sunshine Band in 1979.
