Both teams scored one run, with Jacksonville scoring in the first inning off a Sam Armstrong RBI single. Florida A&M scored in the top of the fifth on a sacrifice bunt.
Jacksonville starter Michael Baumann struck out the side twice and totaled seven punch-outs on the evening.
