JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With one big Atlantic Sun Conference win in hand, the JU women's lacrosse team travels to Mercer Sunday for a noon game.
The Dolphins, looking for their fourth consecutive league title, opened big Friday with a 22-4 win over Kennesaw State while Mercer topped Stetson, 11-10.
"They have a new coaching staff and are doing a lot of good things this year,'' associate head coach Paul McCord said. "They're running a lot better systems and are a program on the rise. They have a good left handed player, very productive, in (Lindsey) Zeltwanger. She's quick and good all-around player.''
