JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — For the second time in as many years, Jacksonville senior
Abby Moran is a USA Lacrosse All-American.
The senior from Austin, Texas, was named an honorable mention All-American by USA Lacrosse. She is the first player in Sarah Elms (2021-22) to earn postseason All-American honors in multiple seasons.
Moran rewrote the Jacksonville record book once again this season, cementing herself as the undisputed greatest draw specialist in JU history.
She set the single-season record for draw controls with 188, breaking her own record set last season. In the process, she smashed the school's career draw control record with 496.
She's top five in the country with 10.44 draw controls per game, one of only five players with double digit draws per game.
Moran will look to keep her historic senior season going Friday as Jacksonville takes on the eighth-seeded Colorado Buffaloes Friday at 6 PM EDT. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
