Jacksonville University strictly enforces a credential approval policy designed to best allocate working media credentials in order to maximize coverage in a safe, professional working environment. Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate all requests. Firm guidelines for assigning media credentials are listed below, but all credentials are issued at the expert discretion of the designated Athletics Communications Director. Jacksonville University reserves the right to deny or revoke media credentials at all times.

Requests for season and single-game credentials should be emailed to the appropriate communications representative at least 24 hours prior to the requested event. In the event of space limitations, credentials will be issued to full-time journalists from media outlets that cover Jacksonville Athletics regularly and substantially or to representatives who regularly and customarily perform services for that outlet.

Credentials are not transferable and should only be used by media members with a legitimate working function. Non-working individuals from a media outlet, children, spouses, friends, etc., will not be permitted in media areas. Violation of this policy will result in immediate revocation of credentials.

By acceptance of a credential, the bearer agrees to abide by all of the Jacksonville University, ASUN Conference and NCAA policies and procedures as well as conduct him/herself in a professional and ethical manner. Violation of any of these policies will result in immediate revocation of credentials. The Jacksonville Athletic Communications Office reserves the right to revoke or deny credentials at any time.

Requests for one-on-one media interviews with Jacksonville players, staff or coaches will be restricted to credentialed media, who request interview time through the Athletic Communications office or through the specific sport contact on-site at the event. Unauthorized interviews in a postgame or practice setting will result in immediate loss of credential and privileges.

Postseason or non-JU events hosted at Jacksonville University are subject to a separate credentialing process through the ASUN Conference, NCAA or any other conference or organization responsible for hosting an event.
