AS A SENIOR (2025)
Started all 14 matches in goal for the Dolphins, logging 1,280 minutes between the posts. Finished the season with a 0.91 goals-against average, the lowest mark in the ASUN, while recording 42 saves and a .764 save percentage. Posted five shutouts, tied for third in the conference, and helped Jacksonville advance to the ASUN semi-championship match. Recorded a season-high five saves in the regular-season finale at Bellarmine and earned shutouts against UTRGV, Stetson (Oct. 4), Georgia State, Stetson (Oct. 18) and Lipscomb.

Named ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week twice during the season, collecting the fourth and fifth weekly honors of his career. Earned a spot on the ASUN All-Tournament Team after helping lead Jacksonville's postseason run and served as team captain during his senior campaign. Off the field, he was one of six Dolphins named to the Academic All-ASUN Team, adding to an already decorated academic résumé that included the 2024 ASUN Male Student-Athlete of the Year honor and two selections as Jacksonville's representative at the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum.

AS A JUNIOR (2024)
In 2024, Sekanina started all 15 matches, totaling 1,350 minutes between the posts. He recorded 42 saves on 60 shots on goal against, yielding a .700 save percentage and 1.20 goals-against average. He held opponents scoreless in three matches, including a clean sheet in Jacksonville's solid 3-0 road win at Dayton, where he made seven saves and earned ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week honors (8/25/24). 

Off the field, Sekanina was again selected to represent JU at the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum, reinforcing his role as a vocal leader and communicator. He was also awarded the ASUN Male Student Athlete of the Year.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Anchored the JU backline, starting all 11 games and logging 990 minutes between the posts.. Recorded 44 saves with a .759 save percentage, boasting a 1.27 goals against average and earning one clean sheet. Posted a season high six save performance in the 1-0 victory over Georgia Southern. In conference play, Sekanina stood tall, notably stopping a penalty against Stetson to secure a point, and delivering five saves, including a crucial one in the 87th minute versus North Florida.

After the season, Sekanina was selected to represent JU and the ASUN conference at the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum, underscoring his off the field leadership and communication. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Saw action in six contests, earning the start in four matches... Made collegiate debut against Detroit Mercy (Aug. 25)... Stopped a season-high six shots against FGCU (Sept. 16)... Recorded a shutout in the victory against Georgia Southern (Sept. 20)... Named ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week once (Sept. 27).

Son of Andrea Sekanina and Dietmar Sekanina, has one sibling, Marie
