AS A FRESHMAN (2025)
Appeared in 14 matches with four starts during his first season with the Dolphins. Earned ASUN All-Freshman Team honors after finishing with three goals, three assists and nine points while totaling 628 minutes.

Made an immediate impact in ASUN play, recording a goal and an assist in a 2-0 victory over UTRGV for his first collegiate points. Added goals against UAB and Georgia State, while his game-winning goal against the Panthers helped secure a 2-0 victory.

Started matches against UTRGV, FGCU, Stetson and North Florida and registered a season-high four shots in a 9-1 win over Trinity College of Jacksonville. Finished the year with eight shots on goal and multiple points in three matches.

Matias Tobón brings an impressive international résumé to Jacksonville, highlighted by success at every level of competition. A product of PSG Academy Miami, he captured a U15 State Cup title and the PSG Academy World Cup, where he was named the tournament’s Best Left Wing. Tobón also excelled in futsal, winning the 2020 World Futsal Championship while leading the event in scoring.

In his native Colombia, he became the U17 national top goal scorer with 29 goals and went on to win both the Primera A and Primera C league titles in 2022. From 2021 to 2024, he represented Atlético Nacional, one of Colombia’s most storied clubs, and earned selection to Selección Antioquia U19, featuring the top players from the region.
