PRIOR TO JU:
Romain Spalier began his football journey at age five with his local club in Charneux, Belgium. His potential was quickly recognized, leading to a move to RCS Verviers. After four formative seasons, he joined RFC Liège, where he rose through the youth ranks and played a vital role in their U17 and U21 championship-winning squads. As vice-captain of the U21 team during the 2021–22 season, Romain made 28 official appearances.

He later signed with KSK Tongeren, where over three seasons he became a consistent first-team presence, tallying 71 official matches, 10 goals, and 5 assists. Known for his work rate and reliability, he established himself as a key player in the squad.
