Danielle Della Rocca enters her seventh season as a member of the JU Lacrosse program support staff, earning a promotion to Assistant AD of Lacrosse Operations in July of 2024. Della Rocca, who joined the staff ahead of the 2018 season has also served as a Graduate Assistant and Director of Quality Control/Program Manager.

As the Director of Lacrosse Operations in 2023 and 2024, Della Rocca helped Jacksonville move into national prominence, playing a nationally competitive schedule, while playing games all around the country.

During her time on the coaching staff, the Dolphins made four NCAA Tournament appearances and recorded a 17-win season in 2019, which matched a program record established in 2015 when she was a member of the team. The 2019 team also hosted the first NCAA Tournament game at D.B. Milne Stadium, a 22-7 win over Mercer.

In 2022, Della-Rocca was apart of a staff that helped lead the Dolphins to their fourth straight regular season title, and ninth overall (ASUN & NLC), while also claiming the conference tournament win and their eighth bid to the NCAA Tournament all time. In their NCAA Tournament Round One match against the Stanford Cardinal, JU put on one of their most complete performances of the season as they ran away with a 20-8 victory, advancing to the second round of the tournament for the third time in program history. Unfortunately, the 'Phins then dropped their second round matchup to Florida by a score of 15-10, effectively ending the historic season.

After returning to the field for the first time since the coronavirus outbreak in 2021, the Dolphins had one of the programs most historical seasons to date. The Dolphins season-opener consisted of a victory over Florida, the program's first win against a top-ranked team. JU finished conference play 3-0, and proceeded to win the program's fourth-straight, seventh ASUN Conference Title. Once the Dolphins recieved its seventh NCAA Tournament Bid, the program went to the second round of the tournament for the first time in program history.

The 2020 team was 3-1 overall and beat Stetson to start 1-0 in ASUN Conference play when the season stopped due to the coronavirus outbreak.

A native of Port Jefferson, New York and a four-year standout for the Dolphins, Della Rocca was three times named First Team All-ASUN and twice named to the ASUN All-Tournament team, while earning ASUN Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2017 and a spot on the ASUN All-Freshman team in 2014. During her career, JU claimed four ASUN regular season titles, three ASUN tournament titles and made three appearances in the NCAA Tournament. She is one of four members of the program's 200 Club and one of 12 members of the 100 Club, as she finished her career with 261 points and 186 goals, both of which are the most in program history.

Della Rocca sits at or near the top of several categories in the JU record books. She led the team in points and goals from 2015-2017 and assists in 2015 and 2016. She ranks second in program history in single-season points with 84 while laying claim to three spots in the single-season goals list with 60, 55 and 47, good for third, fourth and ninth respectively. She possesses two spots on the single-season assist list, as 29 and 22 rank second and tied for 10th all-time. Her 13 free-position goals are tied for fourth-most in a season, and 28 for her career are tied for fifth-most in program history.

A two-time graduate of JU, Della Rocca earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport Business in 2017 and earned her Master's of Business Administration in 2019.
