Megan Charlton was hired as an Athletic Academic Advisor for Student-Athlete Services in August of 2021.
 
Before coming to JU, Charlton worked at Florida State University as an Assistant Academic Advisor for Student-Athlete Academic Services from 2020-2021. She was responsible for a caseload of students on FSU’s women’s soccer and baseball team's. She helped mentor at-risk and probationary student-athletes while advising class selection and generating weekly grade reports to submit to coaches. Charlton utilized several university databases including Canvas, Student Central, GradesFirst and TeamWorks to help advise and monitor progress towards degrees for her students.
 
From 2019-2020, Charlton served as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student-Athlete Services primarily working with the Razorback’s men’s track and field team, gymnastics, and women’s golf programs.
 
In Charlton’s first year at Arkansas, she was a Graduate Assistant for Event Management within the athletic department. She assisted in game-day operations for all 19 varsity sports for the Razorbacks.
 
Charlton was a four-year letterwinner, beginning her soccer career at Troy University in 2014-2015 and continuing to play at Saint Leo University beginning in January of 2016. In her junior year at Saint Leo, Charlton was named to the SSC All-Tournament Team and currently holds the Saint Leo single game record for saves (14).
 
A native of Kent, Washington, Charlton earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Business from Saint Leo University in 2018. She completed her Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas in 2020.
