Aaron Longe joined the Jacksonville University Athletic Department in January 2021 as the Marketing Coordinator.
Prior to Jacksonville, Longe worked for the University of Mississippi as Athletics Marketing Graduate Assistant as the primary marketing contact for men's and women's tennis and the student intern program while serving as the secondary contact for volleyball. During his time at Ole Miss, average pre-game volleyball attendance increased 23% from 2018 to 2019. He also created on-campus grassroots advertising campaigns to drive student attendance for all 16 sports at Ole Miss and supervised student intern office hours by providing professional development opportunities, resume workshops and sport-specific projects for a staff of 25.
Longe also spent time with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHLÂ as a marketing assistant, where he worked to determine, implement and execute a season-long promotional schedule to drive attendance and create fan engagement while providing a family-friendly atmosphere. He coordinated a reading program for local elementary-aged children centered around educational growth with the incentive of hockey tickets by reaching reading list goals. Longe also orchestrated the team's "Sing for Santa" event, which showcased multiple elementary school choirs singing Christmas carols during intermissions. He also championed community outreach and educational events across upstate South Carolina.
Longe completed his Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of Mississippi in May of 2020 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University in May 2018.
