Casey Powell

Casey Powell joined the Jacksonville University athletics department as an administration graduate assistant in June 2025.

The Kentucky native was a four-year starter on the Jacksonville University Women’s Golf Team, competing in every 54-hole tournament throughout her collegiate career. She placed in the Top 20 more than half the time, landed Top 10 finishes in over 25% of her events, and picked up two outright victories—including one in just her second collegiate start. She also earned a runner-up finish by one stroke and took third place at Doral, missing the win by just two shots. By the time her collegiate career closed, she etched her name in the JU record books, holding school records for: lowest 36-hole score, lowest 54-hole score, most career eagles, most birdies, and most pars.

Her accolades include the Athletics New Phin Award (2022) and the Faculty Award (2025). Within the ASUN Conference, she earned spots on the All-Freshman Team, All-Academic Team, All-Tournament Team, and 3rd All-Conference Team, and was named ASUN Player of the Week three times. She was also recognized as a 4-time Academic All-American.

Powell graduated Summa Cum Laude from Jacksonville University in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She was recognized among the top 1% of students as a member of the Green Key Honor Society, ranked among the Top 25 Students in the Davis College of Business and Technology, and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi.

She is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance and Accounting at JU and is expected to graduate in Spring 2027.
