Dylan Warnell was named Associate Director of Marketing at Jacksonville University in June of 2018. He joined the Dolphins after recently serving as the Assistant Director of Marketing at Longwood University.
Warnell will assist in the marketing and promotions for all 20 of JU’s intercollegiate sports. Among his duties, Warnell will lead the department's efforts in creating and implementing marketing and promotional plans, overseeing the Student Internship Program, Dolphins Read, and Dunk’n Kids Club. He will also assist in the fulfillment of all department sponsorships.
After starting as an intern at Longwood University at the end of 2016, Warnell recently served as the Assistant Director of Marketing where he was the primary marketing contact for Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, and Baseball. Along with his responsibilities, he oversaw the Student Internship and Assistantship Program, the Lancers Reading Program, the Lancer Loyalty rewards program, and assisted with the Little Lancers Kid’s Club.
Prior to his time at Longwood, Warnell served as an undergraduate marketing intern at Radford University from 2015-16 and spent the 2016 season as a Multimedia Intern for the Pulaski Yankees, the rookie affiliate of the New York Yankees.
Warnell holds membership with the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA). He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Sport Administration at Radford University in 2017 and his Masters of Science in Sport Management at West Virginia University in 2018.
