Greg Calder joined the Jacksonville women's soccer staff in the summer before the 2023 season.

"We are delighted to have Greg as our new Assistant Soccer Coach," said Constable. "Greg has good experience, having already been a head coach. He is very well connected locally, which will be useful from a recruitment standpoint."

"Greg has worked in every ID camp we have had here over the past 3 years," Constable added. "I have always been impressed with how he has connected with our recruits and our current student-athletes on and off the field. He is a good coach and an awesome person to be around. We are excited to have Greg with us, and I have no doubt he will play an important role in helping us move the program further forward."

Calder makes his way from Trinity Baptist College, where he spent the previous three seasons as the head coach. During his tenure, Calder was named the NCCAA South Region Coach of the Year and TBC Coach of the Year, both in 2021. The Eagles won their first South Region Championship during that same year and played in the NCCAA National Tournament for the first time in program history. During the historic run, the team reached the semifinals and earned recognition with the Team Sportsmanship Award, granted by tournament officials. In 2020 and 2022, TBC were South Region runners-up. While overseeing the program, four players earned NCCAA All-American honors, and 12 garnered First Team All-Region honors.

"I want to thank everybody for giving me the opportunity to join the Jacksonville family," said Calder. "From President Cost to the Athletic Director Alex Ricker-Gilbert, of course, coach John Constable, and anyone that had a say in becoming a Dolphin, I'm very grateful to be here."

Calder has coached club soccer in various parts of Florida, with the pinnacle being on staff for FC Barcelona's Escola, based in Florida. He was the only American-born coach selected into their competitive program. He has also earned a National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches organization.

Prior to his coaching career, Calder was a four-year starter at Palm Beach Atlantic. As a freshman, he recorded a school record of 17 assists, a record that still stands to this day. He also competed in four consecutive NCCAA South Region Championships and was named First Team All-Region in both his junior and senior seasons.

Calder earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic and his master's in Counseling at Georgia State University.
