Entering his third year with the program, Josh Moreira serves as an Assistant Coach after spending his first two seasons as a Graduate Assistant. During his time on staff, Moreira has been actively involved in the recruitment process of prospective student athletes, contributing to the continued growth of the program. The impact of recent recruiting classes has been immediate, with four players earning All-Freshman Team honors and one being named Freshman of the Year in Fall 2025.
A native of Canada, Moreira was a member of the Dolphins from 2020–2023 and was part of the team that won the ASUN Tournament in 2021, earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Prior to his time at Jacksonville, he competed in the Toronto FC Academy of Major League Soccer and represented the Canadian National Team at the youth level.
Off the field, Moreira has completed both his bachelor’s degree in Sport Business and his master’s degree in Business Administration and is committed to the continued success of the program.
