Natxo Faus joined the Jacksonville University men’s soccer staff in July 2026 as an graduate assistant overseeing the Dolphins’ goalkeepers.
Faus arrived in Jacksonville after serving as the goalkeeper coach at Emmanuel University during the 2025 season. Under his direction, Bryan Amezcua recorded a .824 save percentage, the second-best mark in Conference Carolinas, and a 0.99 goals-against average, which ranked fourth in the league. Amezcua finished the year with 42 saves and four shutouts in 11 appearances.
Before beginning his coaching career, Faus played his final three collegiate seasons at Emmanuel. During his graduate season in 2024, he started 14 matches and posted an 8-3-3 record with 57 saves, five shutouts and a 1.09 goals-against average.
As a senior in 2023, Faus went 6-3-3 in goal while registering 47 saves and four shutouts. He finished the season with a 0.89 goals-against average and an .825 save percentage.
Faus began his collegiate career at Texas A&M International University, appearing in 15 matches across the spring and fall 2021 seasons before transferring to Emmanuel.
The Cocentaina, Spain, native also played within the Valencia CF and CD Alcoyano systems. He was part of a league championship team with Valencia and later earned Player of the Month recognition with CD Alcoyano.
